5 Things To Do If

If you have Credit Cards:
1) Know and understand your credit limit.
2) Know and understand your statement date.
3) Know and understand your due date.
4) Know and understand your payment options.
5) Keep your credit card in your office's drawer/lockers. (locked by you).

If you want to use your Credit Card:
1) Use only in emergency.
2) Use only for retail transactions, avoid cash advances and balance transfers.
3) Use only for needed things, avoid for wanted things.
4) If you are smart enough, calculate the amount you will use 1st. Then compare with your coming nett salary, assume you will make full payment at the end of the closing statement.
5) For non-full paymasters. Always bare in mind, Credit card is not a personal loan, the interest differs each months, as you make the payment it reduces the outstanding and then the interest will be calculated and add into your next coming statement. The more you used, the more interests calculated.

If you delay your Credit Card's payment:
1) Make sure you can pay before your next statement date.
2) Make sure you call the customer service after you make the payment, and ask for late chargers waiver (once in 6 months).
3) Make sure your payment is 5% minimum payment or above. Do not make partial payment from the suppose amount you have to pay.
4) Make sure the payment is done by you,yourself NOT your third party, personal assistant or relatives, it is to avoid missing payment/ as proof of payment.
5) Make sure you answer the collection's calls made to you from the bank and clarify your situation/ difficulties. The bank surely will negotiate/ provide solution or options for you.
